Anonymous asked: Three things that bother me about feminists. Something is terrible when men do it, but it is suddenly empowering when women do it. Women who choose to be housewives, decide not to abort, wear very modest clothing, or aren’t sexually active are put down for thinking like the liberally minded. What happened to CHOICE? Any disagreement means you’re a sexist cis male who needs to check his privilege or a phallus idolizing cis female with loads of internalized misogyny.

I agree on everything, except I haven’t witnessed them necessarily pushing for abortion or less modest clothing.

I have witnessed them putting down housewives and virginity though.

I have seen feminists complain about people who believe abortion should be legal, but that people still shouldn’t do it for moral reasons.  I’m pretty surprised you haven’t run into that, I thought that was basically where you stood on it.

From the way they worded it, it sounds like they think some feminists are against women deciding not to abort. Like, getting mad that a woman actually had her child. Maybe they meant it differently, but that’s how it sounded to me and I’ve never seen that before.
