What text book are you using? What articles? Feminism plain and simple is 'equality', it always has been and always will be. Those 'sexist theories' are made by women who've had no hand in creating feminism. You're confused by these women who call themselves feminists and you're mad (rightfully so). But please don't try and define feminism as that.

I have an FAQ, you’re welcome to go through it.

So you would say that glorified, influential authors like Gloria Steinem have had no hand in feminism? bell hooks? Jessica Valenti? (I realize Valenti is new, but she’s quoted all of the time).

I’m not confused by women who call themselves feminists, as I’ve already stated. I have consistently seen feminist theory laid out in rape culture, in domestic violence, in wage disparity, in marriage, in ignoring of male oppression and what patriarchy actually is. The consistent message of feminism is that patriarchy is misogyny, and it is not.

But let’s say you’re right, your movement’s been hijacked. You need to pick a new movement that isn’t giving equality a bad name.
